It has been a busy few months enjoying meeting new and inspiring creative folks all throughout the New South. From visiting farmers who grow and harvest indigo, artists who have traveled the world to learn and engage with cultural dyeing experiences to preparing cotton we harvested last fall for dyeing and weaving projects. We hope you will enjoy these recent images here on the blog. Our large beach throw was a big hit at our recent West Elm Charlotte workshop. The first image shows that we are ready for stretching out for some wind and surf along the Gulf of Mexico. We have already been enjoying cold watermelon. It's that wonderful time of year when fresh food, flowers and delicious honey from the bees can be obtained right from the vine or at a local market where you can meet and get to know the farmer whose food you buy. We have been having fun creating fabric wall hangings, paper products and engaging with fun photo shoots that highlight our art and that of others. Summer is here. We are enjoying the Summer Solstice as our thoughts drift to the coming of the Fourth of July.
